SculpSure heating/cooling cycle was interrupted for 3 minutes. Was the treatment still effective?

My SculpSure treatment was interrupted 7 minutes into the treatment with a 3 minute cooling phase. Dr was not sure why this happened. After this 3 minutes of cooling, it began to cycle properly again through the heating and cooling. I believe 3 extra minutes were added on at the end of my treatment to make up for this. Since the treatment was interrupted, was it still as effective as a 25 minute continuous treatment? Thank you!

Impact of Treatment Interruption on SculpSure Results

Hi and thank you for your question! Brief interruption of treatment cycles as your described is not expected to have any significant negative impact on the results of SculpSure treatments and there are a number of triggers (e.g. loss of skin contact) that can cause this. As long as the treatment is resumed shortly after and the full cycle is completed as programmed, there should be no concern. I hope it helps and good luck!
