I'm a 67 yo female and use sunscreen faithfully/avoid sun, but it is what it is. Probably a TCA peel, right? I've applied 30% TCA myself, but it's been 4 yrs. Can't get anything stronger w/o script. Thank you!

Best Treatment for Brown Spots on Hands

  Hi and thank you for your question! While chemical peel might help, my primary recommendation for brown/sun spots is laser and light-based treatment. Most patients see good improvements with a series of IPL (specially those with fair skin), Erbium laser skin resurfacing, or picosecond lasers. I hope it helps and good luck!
