Ptosis after Botox
Hi and thank you for your question! Medicine is never an exact science and the results patients get might vary each time. In your case, I wouldn't be concerned just yet and you should probably be fine with future treatments. However, if you keep seeing this happening, you might want to consult a neurologist to rule out other medical causes for muscle weakness in the area. While rare, a patient with weakening muscles in that area due to some other issues (e.g. undiagnosed Myastenia Gravis) can see over-reaction to Botox dose that wouldn't have caused any issues before. Again, this is very rare and what you see is most likely just a incidental reaction, so you shouldn't worry about it yet, but it's something to consider if you see it happening. I hope it helps and good luck!
