What is a non-surgical solution for eye bags and crease?
A patient asked 6 years ago I’ve noticed in the last few months my eye crease has become more significant and have always had dark circles I could hide with makeup but the bags have become more prominent. I find the eye crease makes it stand out worse. I’m 42 but not quite ready for surgery and my doctor who does my fillers on other areas of my face says it wouldn’t be a good idea to do under eye fillers because it wouldn’t look right because of the bags. I feel it’s not too bad but bothers me. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Hi and thank you for your question! Your doctor has seen and examined you in person and that makes a big difference compared to us who see your static pictures, and hence, I will not rush to suggest otherwise in your case. However in general, we can successfully treat most patients who have bags under eyes with filler injection. I personally use Restylane, Belotero or Volbella for under eyes and some additional filler for cheeks for best results. You may want to have another conversation about it with your physician or possibly seek a second opinion.
