I've recently developed bags under my eyes. Im in recovery for an eating disorder and have been doing well but early August I had a relapse and was throwing up a lot for about a week. After my eyes were swollen and the puffiness has not gone away. I havent relapsed since but it has been 2 months and I'm worried that this is now permanent. Is it possible that this is still swelling or have I cause fat herniation or some other sort of damage? And if so what are my best options for fixing it?

Treatment for Eye Bags

Hi and thank you for your question! The eye bags might be related to your underlying condition, or might be just incidental as many people across all age groups can develop eye bags. While we cannot say much about the underlying causes if any, based on the picture you seem to be a good candidate for treatment of eye bags with injection of hyaluronic acid fillers.
