2 nights ago removing eye makeup I felt my skin was burning.I haven't used again but yesterday noticed the skin under eyes dryer and with more lines, they are not horrible but definitely worse than before. I read this can happen & resolve later but I'm now scared to keep using it. Is it true that it's due to faster cell turn over and will it fix itself or am I permanently damaging my skin? What should I do?If I stop it forever will this go away and revert to how it was 2 days ago? Please help!
Hi and thank you for your question! It is highly unlikely that permanent or long-lasting damage has been done to your skin and all changes should revert back to their baseline with the stop of the irritating agent and allowing time. If the condition continues or worsens, please consult a physician for more detailed evaluation. I hope it helps and good luck!
