I am 59 year old, always thin. My old looking hand bother me so much. I had Radiesse injected 2 years ago, did not help at all. Last year had fat transfered by a surgeon, hardly any improvement! 2 weeks ago had VOLUMA injected, again I see no improvement. I don't understand where do all these fillers go! I've spent so much money already and like to have a permanent solution. Will more fat stick if I repeat the injection? Does is matter how much fat is injected at one time?
Hi and thank you for your question! You seem to have done quite a few rounds of filler injection in your hands with not apparent results. Can you specify the amount of fillers you got? Also, it is quite common that following filler injections, patients might quickly get used to the new look of their hands and might not be able to fully appreciate the improvements, hence I highly recommend that you do a follow up with your physician(s) to compare the before and after pictures to be able to objectively evaluate and documents the improvements. More often than not, improvements will be apparent and if that's the case and you are interested in a more rejuvenated look, you can continue with more filler injection. I personally highly recommend Radiesse for back of hands. I hope it helps and good luck!
