Best filler for eye hollows?
A patient asked 7 years ago I'm a 52 year old woman who has, what I believe are eye hollows? The is what appears to be a thin line of fat (?) which is more pronounced when I smile. I am very interested in getting fillers here, but the thought of something going wrong scares me. I already have dark circles and don't want anything that could make them worse. What is the best filler for this area and who has A LOT OF experience in this area?

Hi and thank you for your question! Treatment of hollows and dark circles under the eyes goes hand in hand as the latter is caused (or worsened) by the former. I commonly treat this condition with hyaluronic acid fillers such as Belotero, Restylane or Volbella using cannula technique and most of my patients see great improvements. You obviously want to work with a highly experienced physicians for best results. One way of ensuring that your doctor has great experience in this treatment is by asking them to show you tons of before and after pictures of their patients.
