How do I fill in marionette lines going from my lower lip to my chin?
A patient asked 5 years ago What would be best to filler to use and what is the approximate cost? I am 69 years old and the lines are not extremely deep. I would prefer not to use Bellfill after many bad reviews I have read. Thank you! Sorry I don't know how to send pictures.

Hi and thank you for sharing your question! Marionette lines appear as we age mainly due to the loss of volume in the area. Restoration of the volume with dermal fillers is the mainstay of treatment. In the US, we have several fillers available that can be used for Marionette lines, including: Restylane, Juvederm, Radiesse, Voluma, Bellafil and Sculptra. The technique and the depth the injection can vary from filler to filler and individual patient conditions. As long as you find an experienced physician, you should be fine.
