How long does it take to see the complete results from a Kybella treatment?
A patient asked 8 years ago I had Kybella injections on my neck 4 weeks ago and have seen some results. I am scheduled to have another round in one week. I want to make sure not too much is taken. How long should I wait after the first round to see the maximum result from the first treatment? I don't want a second treatment unless necessary. Thank you

Hi and thank you for the sharing of your question! In the initial study that was done by the manufacturer, the interval between the Kybella injections was every 4 weeks. However it has been our experience that it can take up to 6 weeks to get the final results of Kybella so at my clinic, I usually do the following injection 6 weeks later, although there is probably no harm in doing it in 4 weeks either. There is also no problem if for whatever reason the patient cannot come in 6 weeks and come later for the subsequent injection.
