I had filler injection for lip augmentation, one side is perfect the other is difficuent, it has only been 2 days since i injected and at the second day we dissolved some of the filler in the middle but not all of it. Can this asymmetry be due to swelling? What are the chances that this asymetry will disappear? My lips were not asymetrical in the first place. If i want to add some filler to correct it how lonflg should i wait since the doctor used hyalase to dissolve some of the filler.

When to Dissolve Lip Filler

Hi and thank you for your question! As a rule of thumb, we always want to allow two weeks following any filler procedures before doing additional injections or revisions since ant swelling can make the assessment difficult. At this time, you should wait for two weeks from the time of enzyme injection and then have your injector do an evaluation and decide on the next step. I hope it helps and good luck!
