Bump after Lip Filler
Hi and thank you for your question! Bruising and swelling are quite common after any filler injection and they shouldn't be a cause of concern per se. I always advise my patients to allow 2 weeks for all the swelling and bruising to resolve and at time if there are any concerns, it can be easily addressed. Please note that this advice only pertains to swelling and bruising and for other signs and symptoms that could indicate complications (e.g. pain and tenderness, redness, heat, etc) or if the swelling gets worse after a few days you need to contact your injector for a follow up right away. I hope it helps and good luck!
