Elham Jafari, MD, DABPN
President & Medical Director
Elham Jafari, M.D. is a double-board-certified, fellowship-trained Neurologist and Neuromuscular specialist, an experienced Aesthetic and Laser Medicine specialist, and a California-licensed Physician and Surgeon. Dr. Jafari completed her medical internship at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and her residency in Neurology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, where she studied extensively the anatomy of nerves and muscles and mastered therapeutic use of botulinum toxins among other clinical expertise. She continued to complete her fellowship at UCLA.
Dr. Jafari has always maintained a keen interest in advanced cosmetic medicine, as demonstrated by training in various aspects of aesthetic medicine. Dr. Jafari has successfully completed several advanced training courses in various cosmetic medical procedures including injectables, various Laser applications, photo facial, and chemical peels. Her academic training in Neurology and Neuromuscular medicine provides her with invaluable knowledge and skill in providing the best treatment for her patients, particularly in the face area which is packed with nerves, fine muscles, vessels, and other sensitive anatomical features. Relying on her advanced and rarely-rivaled knowledge of the anatomy of the face, Dr. Jafari can skillfully perform even the most challenging cosmetic injections in the face and provide her patients with instant “liquid” face-lifts with incredible results.
Dr. Jafari is a caring physician who prides herself on constantly staying updated with the state-of-art techniques, most recent medical findings, and evidence-based guidelines, and providing the best care for her patients. Mazyar Javid, PhD
Chief Scientific Advisor
Dr. Javid is a scientist with years of experience in designing and conducting cutting-edge clinical trials and laboratory research on various medical conditions. After completing medical training, Dr. Javid’s avid interest in battling serious diseases of our age through scientific research led him to pursue a full-time scientist career as opposed to becoming a clinician.
He completed his Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a specialization in Molecular Pathology and Immunology at Stony Brook University in New York where he conducted research on cancer and novel cancer treatments. Dr. Javid is the Director of Clinical Research at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in New Jersey where he has designed, conducted, and analyzed several clinical studies on new drugs as part of the formal FDA approval process. In addition, he is a consultant for pharmaceutical companies where he advises and steers their scientific activities to design and study new medications and medical devices to promote the health and well-being of patients throughout the world. He has an extensive list of scientific publications in prestigious medical journals and he also serves as a reviewer for a number of leading medical journals.
Dr. Javid has deep knowledge and understanding of human biology and molecular basis of human diseases, including extracellular matrix, cell cycle and differentiation, and related phenomena such as cancer and aging. Drawing upon his expertise, Dr. Javid created the Amoderm™ Advanced Skin Care Line to provide high-quality, safe, and clinically-proven effective products for a healthier and rejuvenated skin.
