Can I fix my lips? Ends of my lips aren’t symmetrical to each other

Cosmetic Treatments QuestionsCategory: Lip AugmentationCan I fix my lips? Ends of my lips aren’t symmetrical to each other
A patient asked 7 years ago
I was taking selfies the other day, and I realized the ends of my lips aren't symmetrical to each other. That might sound weird, but the right side is shaped more like a smile, while the left side is more like a frown. Now obviously I prefer the smiling side, but is there anything I can do to make them even; like fillers, bottox, or surgery? I feel really self conscious about it now. Thank you doctors for your answers, I really appreciate it:)

Fixing Lip Asymmetry

Hi and thank you for your question! No face is 100% symmetrical and this is just a part of our natural beauty, and the fact that you hadn't noticed this up until now indicates that the asymmetry is not significant in your case. If it starts bothering you, we can try adjusting the corners of mouth/lips with some Botox or use careful filler injection to adjust it a bit. I hope it helps and good luck!
