Juvederm for a Patient with Scleroderma
Hi and thank you for your question! Having Scleroderma is not a contraindication for getting hyaluronic acid fillers and as a matter of fact, there are a number of reports of successful use of these fillers in correction of facial defects caused by Scleroderma. Please make sure to let your physician know about the preexisting condition and also, discuss your plans to undergo filler treatment with your Scleroderma doctor to make sure no additional precaution is warranted. I hope it helps and good luck!
