Generally speaking, inflammation is part of the body's normal reaction to Ultherapy and hence some recommend not icing the treated area to ensure body response is not attenuated. By the same token, use of a steroid can, in theory, undermine the body's response to the treatment. This being said, I doubt using some 1% hydrocortisone cream on the surface of the skin is going to have a significant effect on the results of the treatment and you can try it if the redness and itch bother you a lot.
