Can you successfully remove/treat Festoons?
A patient asked 7 years ago Hi, I'm looking for a confident surgeon located in Melbourne (Aus) who can successfully remove my eye bags. I've been told they're Festoons. Can you help?

Hi and thank you for your question! Treatment of festoons is often challenging and fillers might not help in many case. I highly recommend that you do consultation with a doctor experienced in treatments under the eyes for an accurate assessment to see if careful injection of fillers can be used to smooth out the transition from under the eyes to the cheek. If you were found to be a candidate for filler, I highly recommend a hyaluronic acid filler to allow easier revision and adjustment down the road.
