Swelling following Lip Filler Injection

Hi and thank you for sharing your question here. Swelling following lip injection is common and it usually picks in the first 2-3 days and many patients see it substantially resolved in the first week, but it is not uncommon to see it lasting into the 2nd week. For my patients I always advise to allow 2 weeks for all the residual swelling and inflammation to completely resolve and the final look is settled. I hope it helps and good luck!
