My first experience with any kind of filler was juvederm in my lips about 5 months ago. I loved the results, and went in for a touch up last week, but the doctor told me I had an unusual amount of scar tissue and/or poor circulation to the border of my lips, and would not inject me again. They recommended I try Bellafill to avoid further issues with injections in my lips. I'd like some other opinions on this from those who have experience with bellafill.

Bellafill for thr Lips

Hi and thank you for sharing your question here! Bellafill is a type of semi permanent filler that is expected to last for long-term (at least about 5 years). Bellafill can be injected anywhere in the face except for under the eyes and lips as it can cause long-term side effects and issues such as lumpiness. If you are interested to try something more long-lasting in the lips, you can try Juvederm Voluma which lasts for a longer time (two years or so). I hope it helps and good luck!
