Is Ultherapy good for my minor jowling?
A patient asked 5 years ago Hi, I am beginning to get jowls and marionette lines. It is really taking away from my heart shape face. It is not at the point where I want to get a lower face lift, especially since it is only the area really low on my face that I want corrected. I am also opposed to filler, I want to make it smaller, not fill it in. Will Ultherpay reduce jowls or tighten that area along the jawline? Is it dangerous to use Ulthera for areas on jawline/around mouth? Are jowls fat, loose skin, or both? Thanks

Hi and thank you for your question! Ultherapy is an excellent skin tightening and rejuvenating treatment that can help with stimulating new collagen synthesis and it can certainly help in your case. However, you also appear to have some volume loss that can be best treated with filler injections and I highly recommend that you see a physician experienced in whole-face and liquid facelift procedures to explore all options.
