Lip injection bad from beginning. 2-3 months later I noticed my right cheek was swollen and I felt a lump. I went to many doctors with no definite answer. The lump moved from the middle of my cheek to now 11 months later the masseter muscle. The middle of my cheek is still swollen.Ultra sound said lump is either a tumor or swollen lymph node. Saw surgeon that told me it is filler that migrated. Lump is lymph node too deep to remove. Is this permanent? Options?

Lip Filler Migrted to Cheek?

Hi, thank you for sharing your question here and sorry to hear about the ordeal. I don't think it's anatomically very plausible for the filler to migrate from lips to cheeks, but this seems to be a situation that calls for further diagnostic work-up such as more detailed imaging, biopsy, etc. It might also help to shed a light if you specify what type of filler you got exactly. We need to know the nature of the lump to be able to say what the options are. It would be best to work with an experienced surgeon. I hope it helps and good luck!
