Traveling, sunshine, swimming, kissing, and sunglasses after Belotero? HELP!

Cosmetic Treatments QuestionsCategory: BeloteroTraveling, sunshine, swimming, kissing, and sunglasses after Belotero? HELP!
A patient asked 7 years ago
I have a Belotero appointment on 3/30 for my tear trough. I was told not to lay face down or exercise for 48 hours afterward. I have a vacation 72 hours later on 4/2-4/8 which involves flying, swimming, kissing, and the sun. How long after tear trough fillers is it safe to swim and be in the sun? Can I wear my sunglasses? They will be more on the bridge of my nose. Is it okay to fly that soon after the procedure? Kiss? Worst come to worst, I will reschedule the procedure for after my vacation.

Traveling after Belotero

Hi and thank you for your question! None of the activities you mentioned should be an issue following Belotero. We generally just advise the patients to be more careful for a day or so and avoid heavy activity but otherwise there is no restriction. This being said, I usually recommend my patients plan their treatments in a way that they will be available for a follow up (in case needed) in the 2-3 weeks following the treatment. Otherwise please don't worry and have a nice trip and good luck!
