Hi and thank you for your question! Cellulite is a multifactorial problem that emerges over the years as we accumulate extra fat under the skin and as the skin loses its natural firmness due to loss and disruption of collagen and other component of extra cellular matrix. Hence, the treatment should ideally address both of these issues (fat reduction and skin tightening). There are many FDA-cleared options available, and they mostly offer some improvements, but there is no silver bullet yet and despite some marketing, there is no treatment that can do it all with one single sessions. At my clinic we use Venus Freeze which combines radiofrequency and magnetic pulsing to reduce fat and tighten the skin and most patients see good improvement after the recommended 6-8 sessions. Again, all treatments work gradually and require longer-term commitment so I always make sure that patients' expectations are set accordingly. I hope it helps and good luck!
