I am 24 and want to take off the dead layers of skin and rejuvenate my face to look younger, smoother, decrease pigmentation and mild acne scarring and frown lines indefinitely. I have tried microdermabrasions, chemical peels, blue-red light therapy. I currently get Botox for my crows feet and forehead.
Hi and thank you for your question! Since you have already tried many treatments (and they mostly look good and appropriate treatment), you might want to try laser skin resurfacing. You can do it with Fractional CO2 laser which will improve the skin texture and help with acne scarring, etc, but it doesn't help much with pigmentation. The other option for laser skin resurfacing is Erbium laser which is great for pigmentation and it does also improve skin texture. However, since you mentioned you are looking for some thing that can help you "indefinitely", I wanted to underscore this that you need to have realistic expectations. In the cosmetic world (and in life in general), nothing provides indefinite results, and even the most effective treatments often need to be repeated later on. Remember that our skin aging never stops and our skin is constantly exposed to harmful rays of sun and other environmental damaging elements, and hence the best approach is do commit yourself with an ongoing maintenance treatment regimen. Treatments such as microdermabrasion and light peels can offer good ongoing maintenance for your skin. I hope it helps and good luck!
