I have high, shallow cheekbones and as I've aged, the "jowl" area of my face has become more prominent. I don't mind this so much, but I do not like the persistent lines in my nasolabial area (see picture). I get Botox for my frown lines and crows feet and love the results. Is there anything similar for this for nasolabial folds? Which treatment would get me closest to "eliminate wrinkles without adding too much volume"?

Hi and thank you for your question! There is really no better option than filler treatments for nasolabial folds. The issue you mentioned about adding too much volume is really an issue of the technique and experience of the person who does the injection. Less experienced injectors tend to focus only on nasolabial folds, while more experienced cosmetic doctors place their injections strategically in other areas such as cheeks to general a nice lift in nasolabial folds. I treat several patients for the same issues everyday and my patients hardly ever see issues with over filling. As long as you work with an experienced cosmetic doctor, you shouldn't have any issues with adding too much volume. I hope it helps and good luck!
