My abs are covered with a layer of fat and cellulite which developed last year when diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Before at 20% body fat my abs were covered with a little fat and some loose skin which hung down when I bent over and bothered me. I had a thermage consult and was told the skin would tighten with exercise. Now I am steadily losing fat/gaining muscle with a strict diet/exercise program, but suspect the loose skin will return.
Hi and thank you for sharing your question here. As I see in the picture, you can take advantage from 2 types of treatment: 1. Fat bulk reduction: You can try one the latest lipolysis technologies. I recommend SculpSure which can reduce as much as 25% of the fat in a single 25-minute treatment and for more fat reduction and better results, you can do two sessions 6 weeks apart. The procedure is very comfortable and pain free with no down-time. 2. Cellulite treatment: Once you are done with the fat reduction step, you can try treatment such as Venus Freeze (multi-polar radiofrequency combined with magnetic pulsing) to tighten up the skin and stimulate more collagen generation at the problem areas which can reduce cellulite. Like SculpSure, Venus Freeze also generates clinically-proven results and the treatment is highly effective and comfortable with no down-time. I hope it helps and good luck!
