Botox at Young Age
Hi and thank you for your question! There is really no age that can be considered "too young" for Botox in adults and some patients may see benefit at very young age given over active muscles and other issues. In such cases, starting Botox earlier can have benefits since it can prevent dynamic lines from settling in and changing into static lines (similar to a piece of paper that is folded and creased and the crease stays even if you unfold the paper). The downside is the cost and possibility of development of resistance but we have other medications in this family (Dysport and Xeomin) that we can switch to if resistance develops. At every age - but specially young age like yours - it is also very important to take good care of the skin, which begins with regular use of sunblocks. I hope it helps and good luck!
