I have gotten treatments like IPL, Microneedling and one CORE laser in the past. Would continuing with CORE lasers be a good method of acne scar treatment? Sorry for all of the pictures wanted to capture in different lighting. Thanks!

Treatment for Acne Scarring

Hi and thank you for your question! I do not operate a CORE system and I cannot speak on its specifics, but in general Fractional CO2 laser is among the main treatments for acne scars and if this system is an FDA-cleared fractional CO2 laser with energy levels comparable to other fractional CO2 laser systems in the US, then it should offer the same or similar results. This being said, based on the pictures some scars appear to be too deep and you might also be a candidate for filler treatment for some deeper individual scars. The best results can be achieved with a combination treatment approach - first filler for individual scars, followed by a series of Fractional CO2 laser treatment sessions.
