Can Injectable HA Filers Be Degraded by Lasers and Alike?
Hi and thank you for your question! The aesthetic lasers and other procedures you mentioned are generally not expected to affect the filler results. This being said, since no clinical study has been done to study the combined effect of these treatments (and most evidence is anecdotal - based on experience of individual doctors) it might be advisable to exercise some caution with treatments that can be penetrating deep into the skin such as some ultrasound modalities. If your schedule allows, doing such deep treatment before extensive filler treatment might be preferred. However, as many doctors have experienced, doing them - specially treatments such as lasers and IPL - after fillers is also generally ok. I hope it helps and good luck!
