Immunity to Botox, Dysport, Xeomin & Jeuveau

Hi and thank you for your question! The immunity/resistance to Botox and other medications in this family is relatively rare and reported in less than 5-6% of patients who have been getting these treatment for long time. We usually see a patient who has developed resistance to one type of medication (e.g. Botox) and we can still treat them effectively by switching to other medications in the family. It is quite rare to see a patient who is resistant to all 4 medications. Once the immunity is established, it is expected to last for long time, possibly several years so you might want to try small amount after a few years to see if it works or not. I hope it helps and good luck!
