What do you recommend to fix Bellafill marks on face under eyes?
A patient asked 7 years ago 3 years ago I had Bellafill injected (1 syringe) under my eyes and in tear troughs for volume loss under eyes. It took 1 year for the lines to finally fade to look natural. I still have noticeable marks when I smile and uneven fullness under eyes.

Hi and thank you for your question! For this and other reasons we generally do not recommend Bellafill for under the eyes. At this time, we can try to reduce Bellafill by injection of steroid or 5FU. Another option is to attempt making some correction under the eyes using hyaluronic acid fillers such as Belotero, Restylane or Volbella to conceal the results of Bellafill. In either case, it is important that you work with a highly experienced physician.
