Would I benefit more from under eye surgery or under eye fillers?
A patient asked 7 years ago Hi! I’m 24 and have had bags since I could remember. Both sides of my family suffer from dark circles and bags under the eyes, however this issue has made me very insecure and I’m ready to make a change about it. I was wondering if you guys could give some advice as to which procedure would help smoothen out that area under my eyes. Thank you!

Hi and thank you for your question! Based on the picture and your description, you seem to be a good candidate for filler treatment for bags and dark circles under the eyes. We typically use hyaluronic acid fillers such as Restylane, Belotero or Volbella for this area and for best results, I highly recommend using cannula technique. Needless to say, working with a highly-experienced cosmetic doctor is highly recommended.
